Inspire, Encourage, Teach, Equip for Greatness
Elizabeth Franklin, "Mama Liz" to many of the children and youth she encourages, is an author and motivationalist. She has spent the last twenty years teaching people how to appreciate and utilize their time to the fullest but by far, her favorite audience is young people.
She conducts “Thrive, Don't Just Survive" College Time Talks and Workshops for college students and high school seniors. Time 2 B Great Success Talks are also available for children, youth, and mothers.
Seeing how receptive young people were to learn good time management skills from the workshops, Liz felt compelled to offer homeschoolers and teachers a time curriculum to instill these principles daily. She turned the workshop in to a self-help book or curriculum, "Time 4 Kids and Teens," and "Time 4 High School."
Liz speaks in churches, schools, and in the community regarding time, priorities, success, and youth motivation.
In 2006, Liz released the first of many books, "I Miss My Time With You." She released the series of time books that can serve as a homeschool curriculum for 4th-12th grades in 2009.
Her favorite project was a series of books for young children called "The TIME Doctor" for pre-readers to 3rd grade in 2016.
This delightful "doctor" helps fix children's TIME and help them overcome the "time monsters" in their lives. The TIME Doctor goes out with Liz to deliver his stories to children's groups.
Currently, she is writing a college success series, “Time 2 Thrive,” and “Taming the Time Doctor” due out in early 2020.
Liz lives in the Smokey Mountains of East Tennessee. She has two children, Danny, who is in business management. Her daughter Anna, who began publishing at age seven, is a student at the University of Tennessee and a seasoned author of nine children and teen books.
Her accomplishments include recognition in several Who’s Who in the past, including America’s Top 2000 Women, World’s Who’s Who of Women, Who’s Who of Professional and Business Women, Notable American Women, Five Hundred leaders of Influence, and Who’s Who in the South and Southeast, and more recently in Cambridge Who’s Who. She has been the guest speaker for the State of Tennessee meeting of the Optimist Club, “The Spirit of the American Woman”, and has appeared on PBS.
